ITINERARY

 

Day 1 – Lima, Peru

Arrive in Lima and transfer to your airport hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening before tomorrow's flight into the Amazon.

 

Day 2 – Lima • Iquitos • Nauta • Embark

Fly across the Andes to Iquitos, then transfer to Nauta to board your deluxe expedition ship. Set sail on the Marañón River while taking in your first Amazon views and enjoying an introduction to the journey ahead.

 

Day 3 – Pahuachiro Creek • Fundo Casual Trail • Nauta Caño

Search for monkeys, macaws, sloths, and countless bird species during skiff and rainforest excursions. After sunset, experience the Amazon's incredible nocturnal wildlife on a guided night safari.

 

Day 4 – Amazon Natural Park • Pacaya Samiria National Reserve

Explore one of the world's most pristine rainforests on foot, by skiff, or kayak while discovering the extraordinary biodiversity of Peru's largest protected reserve.

 

Day 5 – Yarapa River • San Jose de Paranapura

Watch for playful pink river dolphins before visiting an Indigenous riverside village to learn about local traditions, artisan crafts, and medicinal plants of the rainforest.

 

Day 6 – Belluda Caño Creek • Dorado River

Cruise secluded waterways in search of dolphins, monkeys, scarlet macaws, iguanas, and other Amazon wildlife, followed by another unforgettable evening wildlife excursion.

 

Day 7 – Pacaya River • Supay Cocha

Journey into the heart of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve, where lagoons, flooded forests, and winding waterways provide outstanding opportunities to spot wildlife from skiffs and kayaks.

 

Day 8 – Amazonas Village

Enjoy one final morning wildlife excursion before visiting a Cocama community to learn about traditional crafts, natural dyes, and daily life along the Amazon River.

 

Day 9 – Nauta • Iquitos • Lima

Disembark the ship and visit the Aquarium of the Amazon before flying back to Lima for your overnight stay prior to your journey home.
